We can’t talk about indi fashion without indi music, and vice versa. They go hand in hand. Music has been an integral part of Jes' life for as long as she can remember. From an early age Jes has been in love with the live music scene, this love affair started soon after her first arena gig at the ripe old age of 4. It wasn’t until she was a little older that Jes drew the connection between fashion, identity and music. From the point of this discovery it has become somewhat of an obsession. Jes now spends her time hanging around inner city Melbourne and when time permits, London. She heads to as many gigs as she can; enjoying the music is at the forefront, but also tracks and attempts to forecast music and fashion trends.
