What a Pretty Bird bracelets and necklaces available from Fat stores, Museum of Contemporary Art, Chiodo and more...

This week’s Bird of the Week is the Cuervo Pescador, more commonly known as the Fish Crow, although I think the Spanish version sounds a lot nicer. Did you know that the Cuervo Pescador pairs frequently preen the back of each other’s head? Or that they commonly feed stray and homeless birds even of different species? Or that Fish Crows build a new nest for each breeding attempt? Happy little homemakers. Now that the nerdy stuff is over, let’s discuss a bird closer to home. A clever bird too. Such a great bird Issey Miyake sells them internationally. Everyone I know has a What A Pretty Bird chain (mostly because I give them to people as presents a lot…), but they are not talked about enough. There is a new range of colours and fancier beads. Lucky for us she is a homing bird and stays in Melbourne.
