Every year at about this time I realise that another 12 months have passed unnoticed. I panic. My thoughts run something like this: “I am ancient, I’m tired, I’m an under achiever and I can’t believe I have done NOTHING this whole entire year”. I am sure some of you mediocre folk could appreciate these sentiments. Then, to add insult to injury, you go to the shops one fine November day, and there are freaking Christmas decorations up. Seizure. At least Empire have the decency to rub sweet vintage snowflakes into my wounds.
