The concept of using music to increase consumer spending is nothing new. What is new, however, is this musical purse that uses the power of sound to alter your spending pattern. For example, when I tried to buy a bucket of hot chips for lunch today my musical purse stepped in and played ‘Fat Bottomed Girls’ – thus preventing the purchase. Cruel, yet clever.
