See this picture? These are my toes. You wouldn’t believe it if you knew me. I am a hopeless barefoot. Nothing can get shoes on me (except this weather), so my summer feet are reknowned (and repulsive). Ordinarily I would just put socks on, but given that everyone I know is getting married in the next week or so, I thought I’d make the effort. Or rather, I thought I’d get someone else to make the effort. And boy am I glad I did. An hour in a day spa really convinced me that marrying up is a good move, and shelving the career is also wise. I could get used to this place. Great art, nice furnture, good cuppa, and someone else dealing with my heels. Nice one.
