I used to hate Good Friday as a kid. It meant a 4hour drive into the country to visit my granny where I’d be force fed some hideous orange fish with white sauce. Even the promise of chocolate a few days later couldn’t make up for the horror of what my sister and I knew as Gross Friday. Sorry Gran, but I’ll be bringing my own fish this year that I caught from Haigh’s.
