The only thing monastic about Mexican’s and their food is their innate ability to see gaps in the deep fried department. Tacitos, for example, began life as a humble plain chicken fajita. Introduce said fajita to a deep fryer and the pairing created a truly inspired taste sensation. Fryers, unfortunately, are not the most attractive of appliances so you’ll have to forgive their offspring’s shoddy appearance. But have faith in the flavour: truly a holy experience.
