I was watching the shopping channel the other day and they were selling this home hair removal system that (I quote) ‘wasn’t suitable for people with dark skin’. Just as I was about to call and tell them they were a bunch or racists, I discovered that the special light used to remove the hair was attracted to dark areas – thus making it only suitable for whitey’s like me. Of course that doesn’t explain the name of these boots though …
