According to scientists, we (the world) were all once joined together. (Like multiple conjoined twins if you like). I guess that’s what this brooch is trying to say, ‘We’re all connected in some way’. Or maybe I’ve read it all wrong and the chains joining the countries together are meant to represent some weird global conjoined twin S&M community?
