When I was growing up my dad would only let us have one condiment at a time on our meals. That meant once I’d committed to mustard I couldn’t change my mind halfway through and decide to have tomato sauce as well. Even after all these years I’m a still a little nervous about wearing this sauce and mustard combo. (My parents were pretty normal apart from that, just to clear the air.)
